Corona virus is the current pandemic facing people on the globe that have spread across the length and breadth of the earth on all continents.But how do you feel when there is a report of a case in your neighborhood. Hmmm,It sounds quite scary right?😵😱
While it is true that there is still a lot to read,learn and be informed yet there are many things we don’t know.
Myth 1:Hand dryers can kill the new corona virus. According to the world health organization (W.H.O) ,Nope hand dryers are not effective in killing this deadly virus.The best way to protect yourself against COVID_19 is to ensure good personal hygiene by washing your hands under running water frequently and using an alcohol based sanitiser.
Myth 2:Pets can spread the new corona virus
Scientifically,pets cant spread certain forms of corona virus.The world health organization confirms presently that there is no evidence that your domesticated animals can be infected with or spread the new corona virus.
Myth 3:Spraying alcohol all over your body can kill the new corona virus.Nope,using the chemicals all over your body isn’t going to kill the virus if you have been already affected. “Spraying substances can be harmful to clothes or mucous membranes like the eye and mouth.
Myth 4:Chinese goods are carriers of the virus.The perception is false because corona virus do not survive long on objects ,letters or packages.
Myth 5:Wearing a Face mask is the best way to protect yourself.According to the centre for Disease control (CDC) it does not recommend wearing of a face mask to prevent contracting respiratory diseases like the corona virus.Meanwhile,people who already have corona virus symptoms should wear face masks.
